Regarding the use of our equipments and services

First of all, we would like to thank you for your preference of using our communication services.

This Acceptable User Policy (AUP) will cover incidents that involves any equipments or services under NTT do Brasil's responsibility.

NTT do Brasil, in order to provide major security to the clients, set some basic rules to improve the Internet usage.

1 - It´s "PROHIBITED" the data transmission to any destination with the following activities:

1.1 - forging or misrepresenting message headers, whether in whole or in part, to mask the originator of the message.

1.2 - cause failures in NTT services or equipments or in the Internet network.

1.3 - using NTT's network to advertise, transmit, store, post, display, or otherwise make available child pornography or obscene speech or material.

1.4 - sending unsolicited bulk and/or commercial messages over the Internet, known as "spamming".

1.5 - engaging in activity that violates privacy, publicity, or other personal rights of others.

1.6 - advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available any software, program, product, or service that is designed to violate this AUP, which includes the facilitation of the means to spam, initiation of pinging, flooding, mailbombing, denial of service attacks, and piracy of software.

2. It´s "PROHIBITED" to monitor the traffic without prior consent.

3. It´s "PROHIBITED" to engage in activities that are determined to be illegal, including advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, fraudulently charging credit cards, and pirating software.

Any complaints about a subscriber's violation of this AUP should be sent to abuse@arcstar.com.br

Breaking the above rules, may result in a user warning, report to authority or contract termination.
